U14 Football Féile 14/3/2015

Newcestown travelled to Coachford to play in the under 14 Football Féile on Saturday 14 March 2014. The conditions were ideal for football, cool dry and sunny.

The opponents in the first match were Bishopstown. Newcestown led by 0-2 to 0-0 at half time. Bishopstown came back in to the game in the second half and won in the end by 3-1 to 0-2.

Carbery Rangers were next, the Rosscarbery boys took their scores well and won by 2-8 to 0-2. 

The third game was against Ibane Gaels. At half time the scores were level, 1-1 each. Newceatown added 1-1 to their tally in the second half while Ibane Gaels added 0-2. The final score was Newcestown 2-2, Iband Gaels 1-3.

The final match was against Aghabullogue. The home side won by 3-6 by to 1-2.

Carbery Rangers came out on top by beating Bishopstown by a point in the last game.
